New Projects In Mayan Village

Chimaltangle Village....................... My friends, Pastors of the Foursquare Church in Guatemala City, asked me to check out some projects they are working on. So today we took off for the Mayan Village. It was only about one hour drive outside Guatemala City. The roads were good and the scenery was beautiful. We met with the Pastors and they told me about their plans. They are working hard to repair and improve their churches, but they really need help to do so.
One church needs a new roof, and the children's' classrooms finished. Their church is growing so they also need to enlarge their church. They have the land and workers, but they need the some expertise on how to do it.

We drove a ways down the road to another village. Here the church is growing some much they also need to
enlarge their church. They also have members that live in the near by mountains. It is too difficult for them to make it to all the church services, so they want to build nearer to them. They to have the land, now they just need to build the church.

Some of these Pastors I met in 1987 when I was here with the Foursquare Church .They attended the Bible Institute we had here. I was surprised they remembered me and greeted me as family.

Sounds like a good project for a Missions Trip......................
